Research Profile
As an Associate Professor specializing in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, I’ve dedicated over fifteen years to unraveling the neuropsychological complexities of animal pain. My research spans locoregional anesthesia, equine anesthesia, and pain management. Initially focused on pharmacological interventions for acute postoperative pain, my work now delves into neuropathic pain markers in animals with spontaneous disorders, aiming for deeper insights. My laboratory, backed by a dedicated team, is a nurturing ground for aspiring scientists, fostering inclusivity and mentoring from diverse backgrounds. With unwavering dedication to animal well-being and innovation, I continually push the boundaries of veterinary anesthesia and pain management.
