A big round of applause for Dr. Miscioscia from the Pain Innovations Research Laboratory!

In August, she delivered an abstract presentation at the American College of Veterinay Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program, on the Effect of Encapsulated Kratom on Naturally Occurring Osteoarthritic Pain in a Canine Model.

In October, Dr. Miscioscia presented at Hill’s Global Symposium 2025: Senior Pets and Supporting Ageing. Her talk highlighted geriatric rehabilitation and the key strategies that help aging dogs and cats thrive in their golden years. The symposium was live-streamed globally from Phoenix, Arizona, reaching over 4,000 live attendees and more than 14,000 registered viewers for on-demand access. In addition to her lecture, Dr. Miscioscia participated in an expert panel discussion on mobility for aging pets.

Last week, Dr. Miscioscia presented a live webinar for Hill’s Veterinary Academy, on the  Multimodal Management of Canine Osteoarthritis.

Here’s a woman who is bridging the gap between senior care and analgesia measures to help patients as a whole, increasing both longevity and livelihood!
